As part of the state government’s ongoing “War Against Drugs” campaign and to rescue youth from the clutches of drug abuse, Ferozepur Police today launched a special outreach program named “Sampark” to raise awareness about the ill effects of drug usage among school-going students.

While addressing the students, SSP Bhupinder Singh educated them about the perils of addiction. “The students are the future of the nation, and through the ‘Sampark’ initiative, our aim is to protect them from the menace of drugs by raising awareness and guiding them towards a healthier, brighter future,” said the SSP.

On this occasion, the students also gave a strong message against drugs through poems and speeches. The SSP exhorted the students to join the Police’s ongoing “War Against Drugs.” In the end, an oath was administered in which all the young students pledged not to use drugs.
