Sunil Dutt resident of Kalka, District Panchkula have lodged complaint with police station Dharampur, that Mahesh Sharma son of Brahmanand resident of Kalka (Haryana) has obtained fake degree of BA and LLB from Manav Bharati University Lado Sultanpur Solan.
The complainant further stated that on the basis of these fake degree, Mahesh Sharma has registered himself in the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. Mahesh Sharma has obtained BA degree from Manav Bharati University in the academic session 2010-13, while the BA graduation course in this university was started from the year 2014.
(SUBHEAD)After this, on the basis of the fake degree of BA graduation, Mahesh Sharma also obtained the degree of LLB from Manav Bharati University and on the basis of these fake documents, Mahesh Sharma got himself registered in the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana Highcourt.
Upon this a case was registered in Dharampur police station on 01.2024 U/S 420, 465, 468, 471 IPC PS Dharampur. in Distt. Solan.
During the investigation the graduation degree (academic session 2010-13) issued by the accused Mahesh Sharma from Manav Bharati University was verified and it was found that the BA graduation course was not recognized in Manav Bharati University during the academic session 2010-13. But the accused obtained the degree of LLB from Manav Bharati University on the basis of this fake degree of BA graduate and on the basis of these degrees the accused has registered himself in the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.
During the investigation, no record related to the study of BA graduation course of accused Mahesh Sharma was found in Manav Bharati University. Accused Mahesh Sharma son of Brahma Nand, resident of Kalka, District Panchkula, Haryana, aged 34 years, booked under Section 35(3) BNSS under notice as per rules and investigating.
