One person namely Sunil S/o Chhotu R/o Manimajra, Age 20 Years, student of 2nd year of B.A. has been arrested by the team of Operations Cell, Sector-26, Chandigarh and one country made pistol alongwith one live cartridge was recovered.
As per the directions of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, SP Operations, UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Vikas Sheokand, DSP Operations and supervision of Inspector Maninder Singh, I/C Operations, a team of Operations Cell is especially deputed in the area of U.T Chandigarh to keep vigil on the anti social elements, wanted criminals / gangsters etc.
On 02.02.2025, upon the secret information, one person namely Sunil S/o Chhotu, R/o Mani Majra, Chandigarh, Age 20 Years has been arrested by the team of Operation Cell, Chandigarh near Govt. Toilet, Kishangarh to Manimajra Road, Chandigarh and one country made pistol (katta) alongwith one live cartridge was recovered from his possession.
A case FIR No.10 dt.02.02.2025 U/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered against him at PS-I.T Park, U.T., Chandigarh.
The accused Sunil S/o Chhotu, Age 20yrs, student, was produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is going on.
