CUSTOMS DEPTT COMMISSIONER VISITS ABOHAR

To strengthen the drive against drug trafficking and other illegal activities, Abhinav Gupta, Central Customs Department Commissioner visited the Customs Preventive Station in Abohar. Prashant Joshi Superintendent and Om Prakash Assistant Sub Inspector accompanied the Commissioner. 

Gupta emphasized the importance of the role of the department at a meeting that was also attended by Superintendents Sunita Rani and Ankush Gupta, Ajay Singh Inspector and other employees in preventing drug smuggling and smuggling of other illegal products. He also planted a sapling in the office premises and highlighted the department's commitment to preserve the environment. 

Employees were instructed that they should play an important role in the security of the area from illegal activities. Along with this, he advised to coordinate with other investigating agencies to prevent smuggling of drugs and other illegal items.
