CPDL’S SEAMLESS FIRST DAY OF OPERATIONS: A STEP TOWARDS GROWTH AND EMPLOYEE WELFARE

Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL) marked the successful commencement of its operations in Chandigarh, ensuring uninterrupted electricity distribution throughout the city on its first day. With smooth handling of the power distribution, CPDL has demonstrated its commitment to seamless service and has instilled confidence in the people of Chandigarh, who continued to receive power as usual without any disruption.

In addition to the operational success, CPDL also took proactive steps to engage with its employees, emphasizing transparency and collaboration. Mr. P.R. Kumar, President of Power Distribution at RPSG Group, reassured the employees that their well-being and welfare remain a top priority, reinforcing the company's commitment to employee satisfaction and ensuring continued support during this transition.
CPDL worked diligently to establish strong communication with employees from the erstwhile Chandigarh Electricity Department. Over the last two days, the company held successful dialogues with the employees, which included a crucial meeting led by the Deputy Commissioner. This resulted in an agreement where employees pledged their full support. The employees were reassured that their government benefits, service conditions, and retirement benefits would remain protected under the CPDL structure, as per the transfer scheme notified by the UT Administration.
