BANDARU DATTATRAYA TAKES PART IN CULTURAL EVENING AT GURUGRAM UNIVERSITY

A cultural evening was organized by ‘Kashmir Peace Lovers’ at Gurugram University located in Sector 51, Gurugram. Haryana Governor Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya participated in this event as the chief guest. Addressing the programme, he said Kashmir is the crown of India and a symbol of peace. This peace should be maintained in future also and I salute the people working for it, he said. After coming to this programme, a pleasant image of Kashmir was visible to him, he added.

(MOREPIC1)(SUBHEAD)During the programme, people working for the peace of Kashmir were honored in various categories. The Governor congratulated all such people who received awards in this ceremony. Describing his Kashmir visit, the Governor said many ancient temples are located in Kashmir and the people there have preserved their cultural heritage.

OSD to Chief Minister, Dr. Raj Nehru said the objective of ‘Kashmir Peace Lovers’ is to present and promote our culture. He said he got a chance to visit Kashmir with the Governor and saw various ancient temples. The government is working for the development of India’s cultural heritage, he added.

The event remembered various pioneers who have worked for peace in Kashmir. Various competitions were organized in their memory. Surya Ganju played the guitar. Vice Chancellor of Gurugram University, Prof. Dinesh Kumar and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
