The office of the Registering & Licensing Authority, UT. Chandigarh, has conducted an e-auction of vehicle registration numbers (fancy & choice) of the new series “CH01-CX” from vehicle numbers 0001 to 9999, along with left-over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series from 25.11.2024 to 27.11.2024, in which a total of 382 registration numbers have been auctioned. Resultantly, enormous revenue of Rs. 1,92,69,000/- has been fetched.
The registration number “CH01-CX-0001” fetched the highest amount of Rs. 20,70,000/-, whereas the registration number “CH01-CX-0007” fetched the second highest amount of Rs. 8,90,000/-.
The registration number CH01CX0005 went for the final auction amount of Rs. 811000, CH01CX0009 for Rs. 799000, CH01CX9999 for Rs. 601000, CH01CX0004 for Rs. 491000, CH01CX0006 for Rs. 471000, CH01CX0003 for Rs. 461000, CH01CX0008 for Rs. 461000, and CH01CX0002 for Rs. 37100.
