Vice Chancellor of Tantia University, Sriganganagar, who has been working in the field of environmental protection for a long time, Prof. (Dr.) M.M. Saxena has been nominated as Education and Communication Commission Member at the International Union for Conservation of Nature, Switzerland (IUCN) for his commendable work in the field of environment.

IUCN works to tackle three of the most important challenges facing the world's ocean and polar regions: climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.

Registrar of the University, Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma said that IUCN is the world's top organization for nature conservation. Commission Chairman Dr. Sean Southee has issued a letter to this effect.
