MOTIVATES ALL THE OFFICERS/EMPLOYEES OF THE REVENUE DEPARTMENT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE HONESTLY

Punjab Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa exhorted all the officers/employees of the department to serve the people zealously with integrity and honesty.

(MOREPIC1)Addressing a seminar at the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MAGSIPA) here, Jimpa said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to provide hassle-free services to the people and appealed to all staff for support and cooperation. He said that the officers/officials are backbone of the state government and act as a catalyst to percolate benefits of the schemes of state government at the ground level. Jimpa said that citizen centric services should be delivered to people In a smooth and hassle free manner so that they don’t face any sort of inconvenience.

It may be mentioned that a seminar on conduct, discipline, soft skills and honesty & integrity was conducted for the officers/employees of the office of Financial Commissioner Secretariat, Punjab at MAGSIPA.

In this seminar Special Chief Secretary-cum-Finance Commissioner Revenue K.A.P. Sinha, Secretary Revenue Alkananda Dayal, Special Secretary Revenue Upkar Singh besides 650 officials/employees of Financial Commissioners Secretariat, Punjab participated. Employees who attended the seminar, were guided by the officers by their personal experiences and office rules/instructions.

On the occasion, the problems of the employees were also heard by the Revenue Minister and Financial Commissioner Revenue and some were resolved on the spot. The rest of the problems were also assured to be solved soon. During the seminar, the employees were also motivated to improve their personality by always being positive.
