The Government of India (GoI) reportedly allowed has allowed for milling of paddy and delivery of rice up to August 31, 2024. To further speed up delivery of pending rice/
Govt. has directed that rice may be accepted from rice millers at FCI Depots across the State of Punjab on Saturdays and Sundays as well, said Dirctor Food, Civil Supplies and Consumers Officers, Punjab. .
