IN THE WAKE OF TRAGIC DEATH OF THREE STUDENTS IN BASEMENT OF A COACHING INSTITUTE IN DELHI, ENFORCEMENT TEAM OF ESTATE OFFICE, CHANDIGARH INSPECTED VARIOUS PROMINENT COACHING INSTITUTES OF SECTOR 34 ON TUESDAY.

In the wake of tragic death of three students in basement of a coaching institute in Delhi, Enforcement team of Estate Office, Chandigarh inspected various prominent coaching institutes of Sector 34 on Tuesday.
(SUBHEAD)The basements of some of these coaching institutes were found being utilized as reading room or for other ancillary activities, which are otherwise not permissible for habitable use as per building bylaws.
Officials of Estate office directed that such basements should not be used for habitable purpose against the Building bylaws. Such basements were directed to be vacated immediately in presence of officials of Estate Office and notices are being served to all coaching institutions to not to use basements for any coaching classes or related activities. Rest of the coaching institutes of the city shall also be inspected in coming days to ensure that the safety of students is not compromised.
