CHANDIGARH POLICE IN A MAJOR SUCCESS ARRESTED ACCUSED OF IMMIGRATION FRAUD WITHIN 24 HOURS

A team of Police Station Sector-17, UT Chandigarh constituted on the direction of W/SSP UT Chandigarh, under the supervision of Sh. Gurmukh Singh DSP SDPO/Central Sector 17 UT Chandigarh, headed by Dr.Akanksha Milind Tamgadge IPS, SHO Police Station Sector 17 Chd has achieved major success by arresting accused of Immigration Fraud within 24 hours reporting of case in case FIR No. 103 dated 04.06.2024 U/s 420,467,468,471,120B IPC PS-17, UT, Chandigarh.

The accused identified as Kushpal Singh S/o Lt. Sh. SurajParkash R/o Flat No. 26 Block B-2 Gulmohar City DeraBassi SAS Nagar Mohali Pb age 46 years Permanent address : – Gali No. 03 Dashmesh Nagar Old Cantt. Road Faridkot Punjab.

(SUBHEAD) The above said case has been registered on the complaint of Mr.Shubham Kumar S/o Sh. Ishwar Singh R/o H. No. 354 Lamba Patti, KakotPO Distt. Kaithal Haryana in which he stated that he is residing at given address and we wanted to go abroad on student visa so he passed PTE course. Thereafter, he saw an advertisement of World Visa Advisor SCO No. 69 FF Sector 17 UT Chandigarh at Instagram and he contacted on the given number in November 2023. He visited the office of World Visa Advisor SCO No. 69 FF Sector 17 UT Chandigarh where Mr.Kushpal Singh owner of World Visa Advisor, Anmol @ Aman, Vinay took Rs. 10,41,800/- through bank transactions in their company accounts from him on the pretext of processing/registration fee, college fee, COE fee, Health Insurance fee, Gap clear fee & fund show fee. After taking payment, neither accused persons provide student visa nor return his money.

There are total 04 complaints mentioned in the case i.e. 1. Mr.Shubham Kumar Cheating amount Rs. 10,41,800/-, 2. Mr.GurjeetKundu Cheating amount Rs. 10,44,900/-, 3. Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma Cheating amount Rs. 10,49,567/-, 4. Mr.Jashanpreet Cheating amount Rs. 11,00,000/-. Total amount involved in the case is Rs. 42,36,267/-.

During investigation, sincere efforts have been made to trace out the accused Kushpal Singh and accused Kushpal Singh owner of World Visa Advisors SCO No. 69 1st floor Sector 17 D UT Chandigarh has been arrested within 24 hours of reporting of case and 02 passports of clients & Car KiaSonet temp. No. T0323 CH 3785 A have been recovered from the possession of accused Kushpal Singh and the same has been taken into police possession through seizure memos. Now the accused is on Police remand for 02 days.
