BLIND MURDER CASE SOLVED BY POLICE TWO, ALONG WITH A JUVENILE ARRESTED

The police has solved a blind murder case and have arrested three persons including a juvenile. While divulging details, Saumya Mishra SSP said that on May 9 this month, the police had found the body of an unidentified person near old Harike Bridge in Makhu area following which the police had registered an FIR at Makhu police station.

The SSP said that during the investigation it came to fore that the deceased identified as Jashanpreet Singh (32) resident of Gorkha village in Tarn Taran district had some enmity with the accused Navdeep Singh alias Nav, Jaskaran Singh alias Jass, both resident of Harike in Tarn Taran district.
“Both Navdeep and Jaskaran along with one of their accomplice who is a juvenile, had badly beaten Jashanpreet and later brought him to Harike Headworks where they shot him”, said SSP Mishra adding that the police have nabbed the accused.

The SSP said that the accused have been booked under sections 302, 34 besides Arms Act at Makhu police station (FIR No. 51 Dated 09.05.24). One of the accused Navdeep had already been booked by the police under sections 380, 454, 427 IPC at Harike police station”, said SSP.
