Based on a complaint received regarding demand of Rs 15000 by Head draftsman Bipin Bagga in building branch, Estate Office, in lieu of inspection of violation removal and clearance, an FIR under sections 7 PC act 1988,120B IPC was registered.
Vigilance Cell Chandigarh laid a trap and caught red handed Bipan Bagga while he was accepting bribe of Rs. 15000/- in his office on behalf of JE Vishnu kumar.
Subsequently JE Vishnu Kumar was also arrested and further investigation and searches are on.
