In supersession of the Chandigarh Administration, Excise & Taxation Department Notification No. E&T/EST-2024/1243-1246 dated 01.02.2024 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Punjab Excise Act 1914 (1 of 1914) as applicable to the Union Territory, Chandigarh and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator Union Territory Chandigarh hereby appoints Sh. Harsuhinderpal Singh Bar, PCS as Collector for discharging the functions as such under this Act, throughout the Union Territory, Chandigarh with effect from the date he assumed the charge in accordance with the order No. 22/6/20-IH(4)-2024/4060 dated 22.03.2024 issued by Department of Personnel, Union Territory, Chandigarh.
