ADG CALLS UPON THE NCC CADETS TO IMBIBE DISCIPLINE AND RICH VALUES

MAJOR GENERAL MOKHA ADG NCC PHHP&C DIRECTORATE VISITS NCC UNITS AT AMRITSAR

Major General Manjeet Singh Mokha, Additional Director General, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh (PHHP&C) Directorate visited the NCC Group Headquarter, Amritsar. The Major General Mokha addressed a large gathering of NCC Cadets, Associate NCC officers, Caretaker NCC officers along with officers and Permanent Instructor staff of NCC Group, at Guru Nanak Dev University(GNDU), Amritsar.

Speaking on the occasion, Major General Mokha called upon the cadets to display the highest qualities of character, maturity and selfless service as well as the highest standards of discipline and conduct, maintaining a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork cutting across the barriers of region, language, caste and creed. He added that the aim of the NCC is to enhance self-confidence of cadets, deepen their value systems and provide an exposure to the rich culture and traditions of our nation.

(SUBHEAD)The General Officer also commended the work being done by the NCC Group Amritsar and its units in various fields and also motivated the cadets to take keen interest in NCC activities as well as in academics and aim to be model citizens. His visit shall be a catalyst in reinvigorating and providing valuable direction in training and administrative aspects to accomplish the goals set by the PHHP&C Directorate.

The General Officer on his arrival to Amritsar was received by Brig KS Bawa, Group Commander NCC, Amritsar. The ADG also visited the Air Sqn and Naval unit and laid wreath at the War Memorial.
