MoU SIGNED WITH CION LABS PRIVATE LIMITED, BANGALORE, TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT INNOVATORS AND START-UPS

Under the Chairmanship of Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, the Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with Cion Labs Private Limited, Bangalore, to promote and support innovators and start-ups in the KU through the Kurukshetra University Technology Incubation Centre.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, congratulated that Kurukshetra University has developed an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020 and Industrial Revolution 4.0, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. He said that initiatives like these would assist in developing innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up skills among students, thus creating employment opportunities. Prof. Sachdeva emphasized that by becoming student entrepreneurs, students can contribute significantly to building a self-reliant and developed nation, and the incubation center of Kurukshetra University is playing a leading role in this.

On this occasion, KU Registrar Prof. Sanjeev Sharma congratulated everyone for this agreement. The representation of Cion Labs was made by its founder and CEO Dr. Sanjay Ahuja and his team members. KU Coordinator Professor Anuradha Sharma explained that the aim of this MoU is to conduct research in collaboration with the industry, organize expert workshops and training sessions, develop skills among students through various programs, provide facilities for technical transfer, and encourage start-ups and entrepreneurship.
