Young buddies in the field of journalism will honor on coming 3rd april 2024, Wednesday at press club sector 27 B Chandigarh . They will honour with young journalist 21th SIMMI MARWAHA HONOUR by Simmi Marwaha memorial charitable trust.
In this regard trust invited the entry from those young Journalist who done a marvelous job in this field & his pen power give push up to society, administration and government. They can send the entries till 25th march 2024 on e mail smctindia5@gmail.com.
Trust Manging trustee Rajinder rosy ( poetess) said, 2 decades back from 2004 they started this honor program with the coordination of well wishers of journalist Simmi Marwaha. On this day they honor those journalist in the field of print,electronic,web & photography media who done a fare job and also honor Punjab university Chandigarh mass comm. correspondent course topper. They give pure silver mementos in Shape of honor, she said .
Noted that Simmi Marwaha was a journalist. she lost her life 22 years back in a road accident at Chandigarh at the age of 24. After that her well wishers started this honor program yearly on her birth day on 3rd april. Till last year trust honored 62 journalist across the country.
