Sector 17 Police reported to have arrested accused Raju Singh S/o Papu Singh R/o Mansian Wali Basti, Zira, Distt. Ferozpur (PB) age 35 years in case FIR No. 13 dated 13.02.2024 U/s 379 IPC added 411 IPC of Police Station Sector-17, Chandigarh and the case has been worked out.
Present case was registered on the complaint of Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Prem Nath R/o H. No. 1070, Sector-21 B, Chandigarh age 63 years reported that he is running a Hardware Shop in SCO No. 3024 Sector-22 D Chandigarh. He had installed AC of Hitachi Company in his shop and the Out Door Unit was installed in the back side of the shop.
On the intervening night dated 08/09.02.2024, some unknown person stole the Out Door Unit of his AC. Further, on the same night, one Out Door Unit Hitachi company AC from the backside of SCO No. 3041-42 and one Out door unit of Whirlpool AC from the backside of SCO No. 3034, Sector-22 D Chd have also
been stolen by some unknown person.
On receipt of information, a special team was constituted by SHO-17 and team arrested accused namely accused Raju Singh S/o Papu Singh R/o Mansian Wali Basti, Zira, Distt. Ferozpur (PB) age 35 years and four stolen outdoor AC have been recovered from his possession.
The accused studied upto 5th class and working as labourer. On 13.02.2024, accused person produced in the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody. Further, investigation of the said case is going on.
