The National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from 2nd Chandigarh Battalion NCC celebrated National Women's Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. This significant occasion, commemorating the invaluable contributions of women to society, was marked by various activities organized by the cadets.

The event commenced with a solemn tribute to the pioneering women who have played pivotal roles in shaping the nation and empowering communities. Cadets paid homage to iconic figures whose relentless efforts have paved the way for gender equality and women's empowerment in diverse spheres of life.

In a series of engaging presentations and discussions, cadets deliberated upon the importance of gender parity, highlighting the need for inclusivity and equal opportunities for women in all domains. Through insightful dialogues, they emphasized the indispensable role of women in nation-building and reiterated the collective commitment towards fostering a more equitable and inclusive society.
Furthermore, the celebration featured interactive sessions with the Guest speaker Sangeeta Joshi , Indian Information Service (IIS), Deputy Director, Central Bureau of Communication, focusing on Government scheme encompasses initiatives focused on education, healthcare, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and social welfare.
