The Supreme Court ordered the seizure of all records, including mayoral election ballot papers and videography, to be kept with the Registrar General of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. In which he demanded a re-election by removing the newly elected mayor Manoj Sonkar of the BJP. The petition argued that election officer Anil Masih manipulated the vote count.
