Face2News/Panchkula

Following the trader’s murder case reported in Pinjore yesterday, the district police administration has taken strict action to strengthen law and order. Taking the matter seriously, Deputy commissioner of Police Panchkula Srishti Gupta suspended the SHO of Pinjore Police Station, Inspector Bachhu Singh, with immediate effect for negligence in maintaining law and order. Along with this, other police personnel posted at Pinjore Police Station have also been transferred.

The action was not limited to Pinjore only. A large-scale reshuffle has been carried out across various police stations and police posts in the district. Police personnel and officers have been given new postings to improve efficiency, accountability, and overall law enforcement.

DCP Panchkula Srishti Gupta stated that ensuring public safety and maintaining strong law and order remain the top priorities of the district police. She emphasized that negligence or lack of seriousness in duty will not be tolerated. She further said that administrative changes are made from time to time to keep the police system active, efficient, and accountable.

She added that the objective of the police is not only to act after crimes occur but also to develop a system that helps prevent crime and strengthens public confidence in safety and security. Keeping this objective in mind, the district police administration carried out this reshuffle.
