BLIND MURDER CASE OF SECURITY GUARD SOLVED,  3 ACCUSED ARRESTED

In a significant development, the blind murder case case was solved with dedicated efforts, scientific investigation, local informers and technical support under the guidance of Senior officers.Case FIR NO 48 dated 02.05.2026 U/S 103(1), 3(5) BNS PS Manimajra, UT Chandigarh

On 2.5.2026 at about 9:48 am, information was received that a blood-stained body was lying at Kalagram light point near Petrol Pump, Manimajra. The deceased was working as a Security Guard at PWD Store, Manimajra. A case was registered against unknown persons. The postmortem of deceased was conducted at GMHS-16 on 3.5.2026 and body was handed over to the family members for last rites.

Immediately after spot inspection by senior officers and the CFSL team, three teams of investigators were assembled, and a multi-pronged strategy was devised, with every angle meticulously explored and every lead aggressively pursued under the direct supervision of senior officers. During investigation the last movement and contacts along with financial, and social background of deceased were verified. During fact verification, it came to light that the deceased and his brother resided at the same place but had a property dispute case in their native village Team was deputed for investigation and fact verification regarding the property dispute.

One team checked CCTV footage of entry and exit points of the jungle area near the incident spot, conducted a thorough search, and interrogated residents of jhuggis in the area.
Another team analyzed CDR and tower locations of suspects. All CCTV cameras near the incident spot were checked/Examining at PCCC and Petrol pump and others covering possible entry and exit points. The suspects were tracking by using technical surveillance and local informers.
The interrogation was carried out from witness, collogues, friends and employee of PWD store to Verifying consistency and credibility.

On Sunday, the suspects detained and interrogated and investigation revealed that laborers residing in a jhuggi near the PWD store, where the deceased was working, were involved.
During intense interrogation, it came to light that the laborers, who were fixing tiles on the road, had their mobile phone stolen 8-10 days ago. They suspected the watchman (deceased) and confronted him on the incident night after consuming alcohol. A quarrel ensued on 2.5.2026 at about 10:30 pm, and they beat him, wrapping his own belt around his neck, causing his death. They dragged the body through the jungle, away from their jhuggi and the PWD store, to conceal the crime.

During the course of investigation on dated 03.05.2026, three accused namely Munna Rajak S/o Billu R/o. ward NO 2 P.O Shah Alam Nagar, Tehsil Kishanpur Ratwara, Distt. Madhepura, Bihar age 47 years, Shani Dev Kumar S/o Munna Rajak ward NO 2 P.O Shah Alam Nagar, Tehsil Kishanpur Ratwara, Distt. Madhepura, Bihar age 27 years and Dhanik Kumar Sah S/o Dinesh Kumar Sah ward NO 2 P.O Shah Alam Nagar, Tehsil Kishanpur Ratwara, Distt. Madhepura, Bihar age 24 years have been arrested and Incriminating evidence has been recovered. The accused produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
