CHANDIGARH POLICE ISSUED TRAFFIC ADVISORY ON ARRIVAL OF PM ON JULY 17

Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi  , arriving in Chandigarh to participate in various events in city on Juily 17.

In view of the Special Arrangement Traffic will be diverted/restricted on 17.7 barrier towards PEC Light
movement of the VVIP. General public is requested to avoid the above stretch/road upto 3:00 PM. Further, traffic movement may be restricted/diverted on certain road stretches in view of VVIP visit.

In view of the above, general public is requested to adopt alternate routes to avoid any congestion/ inconvenience. Further, general public is requested to follow the Social Media Account of Chandigarh Traffic Police for real time updates on traffic.

Guests, invitees and official staff are requested to park their vehicles at the designated parking lots only.

General public is advised not to park/ ply their vehicles on cycle track/pedestrian pathway and
shall be taken as per law and vehicles shall be towed away.

Chandigarh Traffic Police appeals to the general public to cooperate with the police and any inconvenience caused on account of these restrictions/diversions is deeply regretted.
