CIA FAZILKA RECOVERS 36,000 PREGABALIN CAPSULES, TWO HELD

Under the supervision of Inspector Sunil Kumar, Incharge CIA Fazilka, SI Kulwant Singh along with a police party was patrolling and checking suspicious persons in Dana Mandi, Fazilka. When the police party reached near the shed of Dana Mandi, a car bearing registration number PB 01D-9247, Hyundai Aura, was found parked there, and two young men were standing near the car.

On the basis of suspicion, the police apprehended both youths, they identified as Sanjay alias Sunny, resident of Odhan Wali Basti, Fazilka, and Manpreet Singh alias Manu, resident of Ghattian Wali. The police party searched the car and found four khaki-coloured cartons lying on the rear seat. When they were opened and checked, 36,000 Pregabalin capsules and 20 intoxicating tablets were recovered from them. A case under sections 22, 29/61/85 NDPS Act has been registered. The car used for the crime has also been seized.
