The Cyber Crime Police Station, Sector 17, Chandigarh, has registered an FIR after a Chandigarh resident allegedly lost ₹75,000 in an online banking fraud without sharing any card details or OTP number.
According to the FIR, complainant Suddam Inderjeet Singh Saini S/o Sh. Parkash Saini, a resident of Sector 32, Chandigarh, stated that he received two to three WhatsApp calls on May 23, 2026, from mobile number 6294688297.
