In a significant move to strengthen entrepreneurship education and nurture the next generation of innovators, the Startup Punjab under the aegis of Department of Industries and Commerce has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) DCM Young Entrepreneurs School, Ludhiana.
The MoU was formally signed in presence of Ministry for Industry and Commerce Aman Arora by Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO, DCM Group of Schools and Mr. Jaspreet Singh, IAS, Director of Industries & Commerce, Government of Punjab.
The strategic collaboration aims to create a stronger bridge between young student innovators and Punjab’s growing startup ecosystem. Through this partnership, DCM YES students will gain access to mentorship, incubation support, industry connect, networking opportunities, ideation and acceleration support, along with meaningful exposure to entrepreneurs, incubators and other key stakeholders.
The collaboration will further facilitate entrepreneurship-focused programmes, workshops, competitions and innovation initiatives, providing students with opportunities to develop their ideas, receive expert guidance and explore pathways to transform innovative concepts into impactful ventures.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO, DCM Group of Schools, said, “At YES, we believe that entrepreneurship is not merely about starting a business; it is about developing the courage to identify problems, create solutions and make a meaningful impact. With this MoU, DCM YES further strengthens its vision of making entrepreneurship an integral part of education and empowering students to move confidently from learning and ideation to innovation and incubation .
