DECLARED ABSCONDER BY THE NIA, VISHAL PACHAR TRIES TO EXPAND NETWORK TO PUNJAB, 12 HELD

Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

Absconding gangster Vishal Pachar’s bid to expand network to Punjab has been foiled by Abohar police.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had recently declared Sriganganagar native Pachar an absconder by beating of drums in his ancestral colony in Sriganganagar. It is believed that Pachar had fled India after obtaining a Passport from Ludhiana.

Senior Superintendent of Police Gagan Ajit Singh today evening informed the media at Abohar that a police team, led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Amandeep Singh of City-1 Police Station raided a salon run by Monu and arrested 12 people with 4 pistols, 6 magazines, 47 live rounds, and 100 grams of heroin. A case has been registered against around 20 people. It is said that these people supplied weapons and heroin only at the behest of Vishal Pachar.

Police officials said that a case has been registered under Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, 21, 29/61/85 of the NDPS Act, and Section 111 of the BNS.

Those arrested have been identified as Ajay Singh, Bobby, Amanpreet Singh Bhindi, Aman Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Rishi, Ghanaiya Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Prince Kumar, Shiva, Shivam alias Shubham and Navninder Singh alias Lovpreet Singh Pinny.

The charge sheet filed by the NIA in Jaipur court had named mastermind Vishal Pachar under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Arms Act, the NDPS Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The agency had taken over this organised crime case from the state police.
