Droupadi Murmu arrived Shimla on Monday on a five-day visit to Himachal Pradesh. She received a warm welcome at the Kalyani Helipad in Chharabra near Shimla. Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu welcomed the President on behalf of the people of the state.
On this occasion, several dignitaries were present, including: Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Anirudh Singh (Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Minister and Minister-in-Waiting for the visit)
Suresh Kumar Kashyap, Surender Chauhan.Senior officials from the state government and the armed forces were also present, including Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, Director General of Police Ashok Tiwari, and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General S.S. Dhaiya.
