GUESTS FROM SWAMI KESHWANAND’S BIRTHPLACE ATTEND ANNIVERSARY FUNCTION

For the first time, eminent guests from former Rajya Sabha member Swami Keshwanand’s birthplace Mangloona (Sikar) reached Abohar to participate in his 54th death anniversary celebrations. Swami ji had founded Sahitya Sadan at Abohar, Gramotthan Vidyapeeth at Sangria and 250 schools in Rajasthan.

Educationist Ram Swarup Dhaka along with Harphul Singh Khichad, Sultan Singh Jangid and Ranjit Singh Dhaka from Mangloona, were welcomed by Ravi Kant Rinwa Chief Patron, Surya Kant Rinwa president and Sanjeev Verma Joint Secretary of Sahitya Sadan on their arrival. All presented flowers to Swami Ji’s statue. In the welcome address, Lekhak Parishad president Raj Sadosh and Incharge of Sahitya Sadan Dr. Sandeep Watts said presence of Mangloona residents makes the function unforgettable and inspiring.

A Havan Yagya was performed by Ashok Sharma “Shastri”, Dushyant Rinwa was the chief host. Presence of veteran educationist Prof. B. L. Rinwa (91), former Mayor Vimal Thatai and Mani Ram Siyag from Jhumianwali village added grace to the function.

Kavi Sammelan was conducted by Aseem Watts “Meet”, other poets included Prof. Kiran Grover, Manreet Kaur, Bhavya Verma, Rizvi Chopra, Sonam, Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Varinder VK, Gaurav Bulandi, Abhijeet Wadhwa, Sandeep Bishnoi, Balram Zindagikar and Sandeep Kumar Jain. They were honoured with shawls and mementos on the occasion.

Later, Raj Sadosh and senior educationist Saroj Nagpal joined the management in honoring the guests from Mangloona.
