GURUGRAM AND SIRSA PRODIGIES SHINE AT HARYANA STATE UNDER-7 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP IN KARNAL

The Haryana State Under-7 Open Chess Championship concluded yesterday with a thrilling display of strategic brilliance from the state’s youngest minds. held from June 20–21 in Karnal, the tournament witnessed fierce competition, ultimately crowning the state’s top budding grandmasters.

In a spectacular finish, the top three players dominated the field by scoring an impressive 6 points out of 7 each, showcasing exceptional skill and composure under pressure.

Based on the final tie-break regulations, the top three awardees of the championship are: • Aadarsh Rastogi (Gurugram) • Hitarth Goyal (Sirsa) • Ehaan Bansal (Gurugram)

The Haryana State Chess Association extended its heartiest congratulations to the young champions, their parents, and coaches for this phenomenal achievement.

The top performers will now look forward to representing Haryana at the upcoming National Championship in Nagpur from June 30-July 4.
