LPG AWARENESS CAMP ORGANIZED IN SCHOOL

An awareness camp regarding the use of LPG was organized by Abohar Gas Service at Ek Jot Senior Secondary School located in Subhash Nagar. This camp was led by agency in-charge Jagdish Chander Juneja.

School Principal Urmil Juneja explained the purpose of the camp. Apart from the school students, teachers and management committee members, many other distinguished citizens were present in this camp.

Speaking about the safe use and maintenance of gas, Prof. J. L. Aggarwal explained how the LPG gas available in the house can be used properly and safely. Along with this, information was shared that saving gas is also mandatory. For this, instead of ordinary utensils, a pressure cooker should be used for cooking and the gas should be reduced after one whistle. When the gas is not in use, it should be turned off by turning the button on its cylinder and whenever you have to go out of the house, you should remove the gas regulator and put a lid on it. Talking about the rights of the consumer, it was told that when the delivery boy comes to deliver the cylinder, it is their responsibility to check the weight of the gas and its leakage to the consumer.

To confirm the information given to the students, a question forum was also organized in which questions were asked about the information shared during the discussion. Students who answered the correct questions were rewarded.
