Police reportedly got major success by arresting 03 accused persons in three separate cases registered under theArms Act recovering total 03 button-operated spring-loaded knives from their possession.
FIR No. 107 date 31.10.2026 U/S 25, 54, 59 Arms Act, PS-Ind. Area Ph.1, Chandigarh.
This case has been registered on the complaint of HC Ravinder Kumar 6341/CP, in which he stated that on 30.10.2026 at about 11.40 PM, he along with the police party was on patrolling duty. When they reached Near NearGarbage Plant Ph-1 IA, Chandigarh. He nabbed one boy namely Adarsh @ Addu s/o Dinesh Mandal R/o # 374/4 Gali No. 5 VillDariya UT Chd. Age 18 years.Upon search, one Button-operated spring-loadedknife was recovered from his possession, for which he could not produce any valid license or permit.
Further during the course of investigation, accused Adarsh @ Addu s/o Dinesh Mandal R/o # 374/4 Gali No. 5 VillDariya UT Chd. Age 18 years was arrested on 31.10.2026 and the recovered Button-operated spring-loaded knife was taken into police possession as case property.
Case FIR No. 108 date 31.10.2026 U/S 25, 54, 59 Arms Act, PS-Ind. Area Ph.1, Chandigarh.
This case has been registered on the complaint of HC Inder pal Singh 427/CP, PP Dariya, Chandigarh, who stated that on 31.10.2026 at about 01.05 AM, he along with the police party was on patrolling duty. When they reached near Burada Ground Turn, Dariya, Chandigarh. He nabbed one boy namely Vimal S/o Karm Raj Plot # 677 Hello Majra Near Govt School Age-23 Years.Upon search, one Button-operated spring-loaded knife was recovered from his possession, for which he could not produce any valid license or permit.
Further during the course of investigation, accused Vimal S/o Karm Raj Plot # 677 Hello Majra Near Govt School Age-23 Yearswas arrested on 31.10.2026 and the recovered Button-operated spring-loaded knife was taken into police possession as case property.
Case FIR No. 109 date 31.10.2026 U/S 25, 54, 59 Arms Act, PS-Ind. Area Ph.1, Chandigarh.
This case has been registered on the complaint of SI Mohamad Aslam 2063/CHG, PP Dariya in which he stated that on 31.10.2026 at about 01.50 AM, he along with the police party was on patrolling duty. When they reached near Parking Area in front of ShamshanGhat, Dariya, Chandigarh. He nabbed one boy namely Rahul Singh Negi S/o Beer Singh Negi R/o # 229 Near Gurudwara , Dariya, Chd, Age 21 Years Upon search, one Button-operated spring-loaded knife was recovered from his possession, for which he could not produce any valid license or permit.
Further during the course of investigation, accused Rahul Singh Negi S/o Beer Singh Negi R/o # 229 Near Gurudwara, Dariya, Chandigarh, Age 21 Years was arrested on 31.10.2026 and the recovered Button-operated spring-loaded knife was taken into police possession as case property.
Accordingly, total three Button-operated spring-loaded knives were recovered from the all three accused persons and taken into police possession as case property. After completion of the necessary investigation, all three accused persons, namely Adarsh @ Addu, Vimaland Rahul Singh Negi have been produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody as per law.
