MINERVA ACADEMY FC CLINCHES 4TH STATE FUTSAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Minerva Academy FC was crowned champion of the 4th State Futsal Club Championship, completing an exceptional tournament campaign with a dominant 7-3 victory over PIS FA in the final.

The Warriors showcased their attacking prowess throughout the competition, maintaining an impressive average of seven goals per match and remaining unbeaten on their way to the title.

Minerva Academy FC began their journey with a commanding 7-3 win over International FC, followed by another impressive performance against Punjab Tigers FC, whom they defeated 7-4. The team continued its winning momentum with a hard-fought 7-5 victory over Shergill FC, securing a place in the knockout stage.

In the semi-final, Minerva Academy FC once again displayed their offensive strength and determination, overcoming Overtime Football Academy 7-5 to book their place in the championship match.

The final against PI’s FA proved to be the toughest challenge of the tournament. Despite trailing 3-2 at half-time, Minerva Academy FC produced a sensational second-half comeback. The team responded with five goals after the break, turning the game around in emphatic fashion to secure a convincing 7-3 victory and lift the championship trophy.

The title-winning campaign highlighted the academy’s commitment to developing technically gifted, confident, and attack-minded players. Scoring 35 goals in five matches, Minerva Academy FC demonstrated consistency, resilience, and quality throughout the tournament.
