MUMBAI COURT ORDERS FIR AGAINST MyFLEDGE DIRECTORS IN RS.4.44 CRORE CHEATING AND FORGERY CASE FILED BY MAHABHARAT ACTOR AAYUSH SHAH

Face2News/Mumbai

A Mumbai court has ordered the registration of an FIR against the directors of MyFledge Private Limited following a complaint by actor Aayush Shah, known for his role in Mahabharat, alleging cheating and forgery involving ₹4.44 crore.

The complaint names Bishwajit Badal Ghosh, Piyalee Shyamlendu Chatterjee and Bijoya Subratkumar Das in connection with the alleged financial fraud.

Shah has approached the court seeking legal action over the alleged financial dealings, which he claims resulted in a loss of ₹4.44 crore. The court’s direction to register an FIR marks a significant development in the matter and paves the way for a police investigation into the allegations.

According to the complaint, the alleged cheating and forgery involved the use of false and forged bank account statements, property documents, office premises and awards. The complaint further alleges that bogus contacts and promises of future investments were used to induce Shah to invest money.

In addition to the present proceedings, Shah has reportedly filed six criminal cheque-bounce cases against the MyFledge directors before the Girgaon Court in Mumbai.

Commenting on the development, actor Aayush Shah, known for his roles in Mahabharat, Navya, Uttaran and several other television shows, said “This has been a deeply distressing experience for me, both personally and financially. I trusted the representations made to me and invested a substantial amount of money. I am grateful that the court has taken cognisance of the matter and directed the registration of an FIR. I hope the investigation will establish the facts and that justice will be served.”

Shah’s lawyer, Advocate Govind Ghogare of High Court, said, “The court’s order is an important step towards ensuring that the allegations are investigated in accordance with the law. Our client has approached the appropriate legal forums with supporting material concerning the alleged financial transactions, forged documents and other representations. We will continue to pursue the matter through due process and seek accountability in accordance with the law.”

The investigation is expected to examine the financial transactions, relevant documents and the circumstances surrounding the alleged cheating and forgery.
