JOURNALIST VISHAV BHARTI AWARDED PRESTIGIOUS TWO YEAR SENIOR FELLOWSHIP

Vishav Bharti, has been awarded a prestigious two-year Senior Fellowship by the People’s Archive of Rural India (PARI). As part of the fellowship, Vishav will report on agrarian distress and mass migration from Punjab. The grant amount is ₹4 lakh.

Vishav, who was earlier associated with The Tribune and Hindustan Times, is currently working as an independent journalist.

He is also working on a monograph on Punjab, which is part of an international collaboration supported by the European Research Council (ERC), added Rajesh Dhall, Secretary General of Chandigarh Press Club.
