UTCA president Sanjay Tandon conducted a ground and pitch inspection at the Cricket Stadium in Sector 16, Chandigarh along with BCCI-qualified pitch curator Deepinder Singh on Tuesday.

Tandon is thankful to the Chandigarh Administration for the good work being carried out. It was encouraging to see that the ground has withstood the ongoing rains well and has absorbed water effectively.

As per discussions, we are hopeful that the ground will be match-ready by 15th August.

Also present during the inspection were Daniel Banerjee (Apex Member, UTCA), Vineet Jain and Sanjeev Pathania.
