NSS ORGANISES PLANTATION DRIVE IN DAV COLLEGE

DAV College celebrated Van Mahotsav marking the beginning of the new academic session. NSS unit and Buddy Club, jointly carried out plantation in the college campus under the theme 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Mahajan said that Mayor Vimal Thatai, Gaushala president Fakir Chand Goyal, senior Eye Surgeon Dr. B.K. Chhabra, SKN Ayurvedic Hospital in-charge Dr. Sandeep Watts, teachers and volunteers participated with great enthusiasm.

Mahajan said that trees are very important for our ecosystem. There is a need to plant as many trees as possible to save the earth from the effect of greenhouse.

In this sequence, everyone contributed and vowed that they will work diligently to make this campaign a success. Along with this, the children took a pledge against drug addiction and assured to stay away from this evil themselves and will also inspire others.

Sanjeev Kumar Gumber, Pooja Sharma from the NSS department were especially present on this occasion.
