CELEBRATION OF MAHARSHI CHARAK JAYANTI AT NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA

The National Institute of Ayurveda celebrated Maharshi Charak Jayanti  here on Tuesday under the able guidance of Dean I/C Prof. Satish Gandharve. The event was organized by Samhita Siddhant evum sanskrit vibhag.

Maharshi Charak Jayanti marks the birth anniversary of the revered ancient physician Maharshi Charak, and is observed to honour his immense contributions to the field of Ayurveda. The celebration witnessed the gracious presence of Dean I/C Prof. Satish Gandharve, Prof. Prahlad Raghu, esteemed faculty members, and enthusiastic students of the institute.

The event commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by a soulful rendition of the Dhanvantari Vandana by the students. The program was well-coordinated by Dr. Dhawal Makwana and Mr. Chander Mohan ji, ensuring its smooth execution.

(SUBHEAD) Prof. Satish Gandharve highlighted the clinical relevance and timeless wisdom of the Charak Samhita, emphasizing its foundational role in Ayurvedic practice. Prof. Prahlad Raghu spoke about the Ayurvedic way of life, encouraging students to imbibe its principles in daily living.

A heartfelt poem on the significance of Ayurveda was beautifully recited by Miss Yuvanshi, touching the hearts of all present. The event concluded on a high note with an enthusiastic shloka recitation by the BAMS 1st Professional students, leaving everyone inspired.

Sincere gratitude was expressed to Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Sharma and Dean (Academic & Administration) for their unwavering support and guidance in making the event a resounding success.
