FREE BUS TRAVEL ON RAKSHA BANDHAN SAYS TRANSPORT MINISTER ANIL VIJ

Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that like previous years, this year too, women and children (up to 15 years of age) will be able to travel free of cost in Haryana Roadways’ ordinary buses on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The Chief Minister has given his approval in this regard. 

Sh. Vij said that the state government has decided to offer free travel in Haryana Roadways’ ordinary buses for women along with their children (up to 15 years of age) on routes within Haryana, as well as to Chandigarh and Delhi. This will help women and children travel comfortably to celebrate the festival with their loved ones.

 

 

 

He informed that the free travel facility will be available from 12 noon on August 8, 2025, until 12 midnight of August 9, 2025.
