The nomination process for the “National Social Icon” Award, organized every year by the Youth Socialgram Foundation, has started. This national award is given to the best 15 social workers of the country who have made a significant contribution to the welfare, development and improvement of the society.
This award has been established by the Youth Socialgram Foundation with the aim of encouraging the youth of India, promoting their social participation and bringing positive change in the country. Every year, this award is given to those who do social service with excellence and dedication in their field of work. This year's grand ceremony will be held in the cultural city of “Jaipur” in Rajasthan, where social workers from more than 15 states across the country will participate.
Cabinet ministers, administrative officers and TV artists and other dignitaries will be present as chief guests in this ceremony. The applicant must be at least 18 years of age to get nominated. Any student or person active in social service can apply for this award.
