The International School Sports Federation (ISF) is going to conduct “World School Volleyball Championship (U15) Boys & Girls” at Shangluo, China from 04th-13th December, 2025. The School Games Federation of India (SGFI) is going to conduct the Centralized Selection Trials to finalize the team (national level) at Balewadi, Pune (Maharashtra) from 25.08.2025 to 30.08.2025.
In this regard the Education Department U.T., Chandigarh (an affiliated unit of SGFI) is going to conduct the state level shortlisting a maximum of 08 Players each for U-15 Boys & Girls from 16.08.2025 to 18.08.2025 at Sports Complex-7, Chandigarh. All interested players (Boys & Girls) has to report at the venue at 09:00AM for registration and verification of eligibility documents.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria: • The participating player must be a regular enrolled student of the school and should be a student of class 6th to 12th during current academic session.
Age Criteria: • Born on or after 1st January, 2010 (U15 category) • Permissible birth years: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
Documentation Requirements: • Original Date of Birth Certificate(issued by Government – approved hospitals/competent authorities in English)• Valid Passport/Applied No. (minimum 6 months validity from December 2025).• Five (5) recent color passport photographs (48mm, white background, full face front view, bare head, within 6 months)
Selection Criteria:• Players will be selected based on merit and performance including Technical Skills, Physical fitness and Jumping Ability, Tactical understanding of the game, Team compatibility and sportsmanship, Performance in trials and recent competitions.
Medical and Fitness Requirements: • Selected athletes must pass medical fitness tests • Medical certificate from recognized medical practitioner is mandatory
