GOLDEN ARROW GUNNERS CONQUER MOUNT KUN, DEDICATE HISTORIC CLIMB TO DIAMOND JUBILEE OF 1965 VICTORY.

A team of intrepid mountaineers from the Golden Arrow Gunners, part of the Golden Arrow Division based in Ferozepur Cantonment, successfully summited Mount Kun (7,077 meters) in the challenging Suru Valley of Ladakh. The triumphant expedition was dedicated to the Diamond Jubilee of the Indian Army's historic victory in the 1965 Indo-Pak War, with a special tribute to the pivotal role of the Golden Arrow Division.

The expedition, which was flagged off earlier this month, faced extreme weather conditions and challenges on one of the highest peaks in the region. Despite the formidable obstacles, the team demonstrated exceptional resilience, skill, and teamwork to reach the summit.
