Punjab Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal today shared grief with the family of Sanjay Verma, during his visit to Abohar. He met Jagat Verma, elder brother of Sanjay Verma and expressed condolences to the family. Sanjay was shot dead by a gangster’s henchmen on July 7 outside New Wearwell Emporium.
Goyal said that the Verma family had built a distinguished reputation in the textile trade through their dedicated hard work. He said that Sanjay Verma's demise is not only a loss to the family but also to the entire state. He assured the family that the government stands firmly with them and pledged that no culprit involved in Sanjay Verma's murder case will be spared, promising that the strictest possible punishments will be meted out.
MLA Amandeep Singh Goldy Musafir from Balluana was also present on this occasion.
