(MOREPIC1)A team of AATS/Rohini led by led by Inspr. Mukesh Kumar, Insp/Spl. Staff Rohini under supervision of ACP/OPS, under the operation “PANTHER-CLAW” has done a commendable job by arresting 01 bookie who was indulged in organizing an online cricket gambling during cricket match being played between Bangladesh v/s Afganistan. With his arrest, one laptop, one led TV, and 05 mobile phones used in operating online gambling have been seized from the spot.
A team comprising of SIs Rajiv Kumar, Vijay Kumar, HCs Rajender, Naveen, Deepak, Cts Sumit and Shailesh led by Inspr. Mukesh Kumar, Insp/Spl. Staff Rohini under supervision of ACP/OPS was working persistently for the apprehension of criminals engaged in organized crimes in Rohini District.
On 08.10.2025, a secret information was received by the team that a person is running satta in the area of Vijay Vihar, Delhi on Cricket match being played. The team laid a trap and raid was conducted at the suspected premises where one person was found running satta on cricket match who was later on identified as Rohit Goel @ Kaali Aged 30 years. The police team apprehended the bookie. One laptop, 05 mobile phones and one LED TV were seized from the spot.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 553/2025 Dt 08/10/2025 U/s 3/4/9 Delhi Gambiling Act was registered at PS Vijay Vihar. Further investigation is in progress, said Rajiv Ranjan, DCP, Rohini Distt.
