The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)has arrested a Field Officer of State Bank of India (SBI),in District Sidhi (M.P.)while accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000 fromthe complainant.
CBIregistered the case on 11.10.2025 against the said accused on the allegation that the accused demanded a bribe @ 10% (i.e. Rs. 50,000/-) of Mudra loan of Rs. 5,00,000/- taken by the complainant’s wife from SBI.
After negotiation, the accusedagreed to accept a bribe of Rs. 20,000/- from the complainant.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed The house search of the accused has been carried out for the recovery of incriminating documents/ articles.The investigation is continuing.
