YOGI ADITYANATH’S GESTURE REFLECTS PM MODI’S DOUBLE ENGINE MODEL

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh expressed gratitude to the Uttar Pradesh Government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for dispatching 1,000 quintals of wheat seeds to the flood-affected farmers of Punjab. Chugh said this gesture was possible only because of the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s double engine government, where states work in unison to protect the interests of farmers and strengthen national unity.
Chugh underlined that Prime Minister Modi has always considered farmers as the backbone of India’s economy. He added that at a time when Punjab’s farmers are reeling under the damage caused by floods, this timely support from UP reaffirms the Centre’s and BJP’s commitment to safeguard the farming community. He said the double engine model is not just about governance but about standing shoulder to shoulder with farmers in every crisis.
He further noted that the Central Government has already extended large-scale relief to Punjab by sending Rs 12,589.59 crore under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and granting an immediate package of Rs. 1600 crore to support rehabilitation and agricultural recovery. Chugh said these measures reflect PM Modi’s determination to ensure that Punjab’s farmers do not face this calamity alone.
Chugh highlighted that under PM Modi’s leadership, landmark schemes like the PM Dhan Dhanya Yojana, PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Yojana, PM Fasal Bima Yojana, and the Soil Health Card initiative have empowered crores of farmers across the country. These measures ensure income security, support for crop loss, and direct financial aid, making India’s agricultural base stronger and more resilient.
Chugh added that Punjab’s farmers will always find strength in the BJP’s governance model which puts their welfare at the center. He said the recent dispatch of wheat seeds is not just material relief but a reflection of the BJP’s ideology of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas. He reaffirmed that the Modi government will continue to stand with Punjab’s farming families with new opportunities, better schemes, and stronger infrastructure for the future.
