Anjana Setia, Head of the Science Department at LRS DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Abohar, who retired on superannuation of service, accomplished many commendable feats since joining the school in 1988. She has made significant contributions to the Inspire Science Award program and the creation of the Atal Tinkering Lab.
Following its tradition, the school organized a havan. Dilip Mathur presented a ghazal. The Science Department presented a heartfelt performance dedicated to Anjana's entire tenure. The Punjabi Department presented “tappe” to express gratitude to Madam. Anjana's son, Suyog Setia, gave a beautiful performance. Principal Smita Sharma said that an era ends with every former teacher.
A message from former Principal Kusum Khungar for Anjana was read. Anjana thanked the Almighty and the DAV family. She was honored by the school with a certificate and a memento. Teacher and poetess Alka Satija conducted the stage using her beautiful compositions
