The Haryana Government has appointed Assandh MLA, Sh. Yogender Rana, as the Chairman of the State-Level Task Force constituted under the Swachh Bharat Mission. He formally assumed charge today at the Panchayat Bhawan office in Chandigarh.

On this occasion, Haryana’s Development and Panchayati Raj Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, congratulated Sh. Rana on assuming his new responsibility. He expressed confidence that Sh. Rana’s experience, energy, and commitment to public service would give new direction and momentum to the cleanliness campaign across the state.

Sh. Panwar said that Haryana is already an ODF Plus state, and the next goal is to sustain and strengthen it as a model of continuous cleanliness. He added that the Swachh Bharat Mission, initiated by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, has evolved into a mass movement. Under the able guidance of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is fully committed to taking this campaign to new heights.

The Minister further stated that the formation of the State-Level Task Force would make the mission’s activities more organised, empowered, and result-oriented. The Task Force will facilitate coordination among various departments and ensure effective implementation of cleanliness initiatives in both rural and urban areas.

During the programme, Panipat Urban MLA Sh. Parmod Vij, Nilokheri MLA Sh. Bhagwan Das Kabir Panthi, Haryana BJP Organisation Secretary Sh. Phanindranath Sharma, and Assembly Chief Whip Sh. Ramkumar Kashyap were also present.
