VIKSIT BHARAT YOUTH PARLIAMENT 2025 ORGANISED BY BSKC

The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 was organized by the NSS unit under the guidance of Gurlal Singh Brar Fattanwala, Chairman at the Bhag Singh Khalsa College for Women, Kala Tibba, Abohar.

Ten colleges from Fazilka district participated in the declamation contest on the topic “50 Years of Emergency: Lessons for Indian Democracy.” Dr. Mandeep Singh was the chief guest. Dr. Rupinder Kaur was chief judge while Gagandeep Kaur, and Kumbha Ram were in the judges’ panel.

Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur Aulakh and Vice Principal Dr. Iqbal Kaur welcomed the guests. Dr. Mandeep Singh highlighted PM Narendra Modi's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, stating that youth should participate in nation-building by following the right path, creating a future where India is self-reliant, powerful, and globally respected.

About 120 students shared their views. Tiya, a student of DAV College, Abohar, stood first, Bhavya Verma, Taranpreet Kaur and Mehak Sharma -all of Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar- secured 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions respectively. Prerit stood fifth, Shailaja sixth, Arshdeep seventh, Mansi eighth, Isha ninth, and Manisha tenth. These students were selected to compete at the state level. The winning students were awarded trophies and certificates. Guests and judges were felicitated.
